FAQs for Quotation and Billing

1. What expenses are included in international logistics quotations?
Our quotation consists of basic freight and additional fees. The basic freight is calculated based on cargo weight, volume, shipping modes (air/sea/land transport), origin and destination. Additional fees cover customs declaration fee, fuel surcharge, peak season surcharge, destination handling fee and other charges. Standard quotations list all expense details clearly with no hidden costs. Extra charges will apply for special routes, sensitive goods and remote area delivery, which will be notified in advance.
2. How to calculate chargeable weight?
International logistics adopts the rule of taking the larger value between volumetric weight and actual weight.Volumetric weight formula (Air freight & Express):Length(cm) × Width(cm) × Height(cm) ÷ 6000LCL sea freight is charged by cubic meter.Light bulky goods are charged by volumetric weight, while heavy goods by actual weight. We will conduct accurate measurement and confirm with clients before charging.
3. How long is the quotation valid?
Affected by international fuel prices, shipping space availability and customs policies, regular quotations are valid for 3 to 7 days. During peak seasons such as Christmas and Black Friday, the validity period will be shortened to 1 to 3 days. Clients are advised to confirm quotations promptly after confirming cargo information to avoid cost increases caused by price fluctuations.
